About the tour

This guided tour between Kendall Square and Lechmere Square will explore some of the many innovative ideas and products that trace their roots to Cambridge, including the yellow highlighter, the electronic spreadsheet, acoustic loudspeakers, car sharing, glass making, and gene editing. Cambridge residents and authors Karen Weintraub and Michael Kuchta will lead this journey through time and space, exploring the history of innovation in Cambridge and perhaps its future.

This 90-minute tour will begin outside the Boston Marriott Cambridge (50 Broadway, Cambridge, MA 02142).
