About the Tour
This tour, created and led by members of the East End House Senior Program, will highlight the neighborhood around the East End House as they knew it in decades past.
From churches to schools to neighborhood shops and centers of industry, the tour will explore the many changes in the area over the past half-century, as well as the places that have remained fixtures in the neighborhood.
How does the East Cambridge of today compare to the one in which senior residents grew up, went to school, and raised their own families? What do these residents see as the future of the area, and what characteristics of the neighborhood have endured the passage of time? Join us as we delve into the rich history of the East Cambridge community on this guided tour!
