Lisa McManus is executive editor of ATK Reviews, the kitchen equipment-testing and ingredient-tasting team at America’s Test Kitchen, the Boston-based home of award-winning shows, books, and magazines for home cooks, including Cook’s Illustrated and Cook’s Country magazines, TV shows “America’s Test Kitchen,” “Cook’s Country,” and “ATK: The Next Generation,” the podcast “Proof,” online ATK Cooking School, and YouTube channel featuring original series including “What’s Eating Dan?” “Techniquely,” and “Gear Heads,” of which Lisa is co-host. She is also co-author of  the book “Kitchen Gear: The Ultimate Owner’s Manual” (2023). Lisa joined America’s Test Kitchen in 2006, after working as a newspaper food editor and a magazine and newspaper journalist in Boston, New York, and Palo Alto, California. She is a graduate of Brown University and the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
