September 28 Event Recap: Hidden Huron Village

On September 28, we gathered at the Standish Street home of Doug Brown and Dee Elms to eat, drink, and learn about researching local history. Our Hidden Huron Village fundraiser featured  Executive Director Marieke Van Damme in conversation with Brown about his research on his house, street, and the broader Huron Village neighborhood. We discussed what makes Huron Village so special, and how residents can engage in their own research about their homes and neighborhoods.
