This guided tour of the Brattle Street neighborhood is specifically for children and families. We will visit several stops along Brattle Street and learn about the history of the Revolutionary Era here.
Who lived and worked on this land, and how were their lives impacted by the coming of the American Revolution? What role did women, Indigenous, and Black residents play in shaping the neighborhood during this period, and how many of their stories remain largely unknown?
Following the tour, join us for refreshments to share your thoughts about the tour, as well as what you know (and/or would like to know!) about Cambridge’s role in the American Revolution.
