The Cambridge Club

The Cambridge Club was founded in 1879, “to consider and discuss questions relating to the civic well-being of the City of Cambridge, and to promote literary, scientific and social culture among its members.” This limited membership club is open by invitation to people who live or work in Cambridge and have displayed significant and sustained leadership in improving the quality of life in Cambridge. The Cambridge Room at the Cambridge Public Library holds The Cambridge Club’s records and archives.
