Matt Smith 3: I don’t know why Cambridge and Somerville don’t get the national attention that a Portland does or a Seattle does. I think what makes those happen is that one band that defines it. Generally, specific cities are thought of, there’s a band, there’s kind of the go-to that’s a reference point. And there hasn’t been that band. Or whoever they were, they weren’t from here originally.
