Paul Combs 2: Certainly there was that openness at that time, and if you go back and you consider what was happening in jazz in the seventies, you really hear this reaching out and incorporating and experimenting with different things. Some of the experiments didn’t work, some did. I miss that time. We all went to each other’s gigs and played with each other and so on.
