The Sugar Planters of Brattle Street

Join the Cambridge Historical Society and your fellow Brattle Street neighbors for our first Tory Row Anti-Racism Coalition (TRAC) meeting and presentation. We will be joined by historian Caitlin DeAngelis Hopkins who will talk about the sugar-planting, slave-owning families connected to specific houses on Brattle Street.

Caitlin DeAngelis Hopkins is a historian specializing in memory, monuments, and material culture. She has a PhD from Harvard and served as the Research Associate for the Harvard and Slavery Project for two years.
